The '24 - '27 Plan

Additional Information

After the August elections of a new board, the Ashland Area Economic Development Corporation (AAEDC) created a task force comprised of 3 board members and the executive director to begin preparations for the new strategic plan. As the 21 - 23 Plan cam to a close, the taskforce reflected on the successes as well as the shortcomings.

The 24 - 27 Plan started with an initial draft of proposals to be included and recommendations from the executive director. As series of meetings were held to flesh out the talking points and then brought to the full board for discussion. The following meeting was held at Farmers and Merchants Bank in Ashland to receive feedback from the investors of the organization.

The full board held a retreat to refine the plan with the "5 Pillars" of the new plan. UNL Extension guided the board during the strategic plan, visioning, and follow-up. The plan was signed on May 14th, 2024 by all members.
